This is the first shaftless drive newspaper printing machine built by ABB and WIFAG in 1994, which uses SERCOS as a high-precision field bus to synchronize the offset cylinders within 5/100 mm. The prediction of that video of 1995 (?) that electronic synchronization would replace mechanical gears and clutches "one day, all newspaper printing machines will look that way" is today reality.
